Unclip the dirty water
tank handle. Using the
tab on dirty water tank
filter lift to remove.
Using a pair of scissors remove any
threads or hair caught around the
brush bar.
IMPORTANT: If the brush bar
does not rotate easily then the belt
may not have been fitted correctly.
Make sure the belt is not twisted.
Lie carpet washer on
its side exposing brush
bar. Use a crosshead
screwdriver, undo
2 screws.
Loop replacement belt
around spindles, replace
belt cover.
Rinse filter under water to
remove dirt/ debris (max
40°C). Allow to dry for
24hrs or until completely
dry before replacing or
storing away.
Lift to remove belt cover. Remove and dispose of
old belt. Clean any
debris from spindles.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, unplug the carpet washer before
performing maintenance/troubleshooting checks.
Is there an accessory missing?
Check the ‘This pack contains’ panel on the box to make sure the part is definitely
included with your carpet washer.
Why won’t the carpet washer turn on?
The plug may not be fully pushed into the electrical socket. Check the fuse
in the plug if this needs replacing, always replace with a 13amp fuse.
The on/off pedal on the carpet washer hasn’t been pressed. Go to ‘Operation’.
If the carpet washer cuts out during use, disconnect the from the electrical socket, allow to
cool for one hour. Clean the filter, empty the dirty water tank. Go to ‘Maintenance’.
Why won’t the solution/clean water dispense?
The clean water tank valve may be stuck, hold the clean water tank over
the sink and press the valve underneath to release water/solution.
The trigger has not been pressed. Go to ‘Operation’.
Why won’t my carpet washer pick up?
The float in the dirty water tank may have been activated. Empty the dirty water tank wait
for the float to settle before re-starting your carpet washer.
The dirty water tank may not be fitted correctly. Go to ‘Maintenance’.
Make sure the hose connection port cover is closed and the dirty water tank cap has been
tightened. Go to ‘Maintenance’.
Check the dirty water tank for blockages and clear. Go to ‘Maintenance’.
What if my carpet washer is making an excessive noise?
If there is a high pitched noise coming from the machine, the float in the dirty water tank
may have risen. To return the float to its original position, simply switch the machine off,
allow the float to drop down and try again.
My brush bar isn’t turning?
The brushes will only spin when the carpet washer is reclined. Go to ‘Operation’.
The brush bar may be clogged, check the brush bar and clear any hair or debris. Go to
‘Maintenance’.
The belt may be broken. Go to ‘Maintenance’.
