OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As
a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Start-up
Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet and slide the On / Off Switch to
the “On” position. Allow the appliance at least 60 seconds’ heating time.
Caution: Appliances with heat-control dials operate at high temperatures
when used on high settings. When using for the first time, begin with the
LOWEST setting. Please read all instructions carefully before using. For
best results, follow these guidelines:
Heat Selection Hair Type
280 - 330 For fine, thin hair
330 - 380 For wavy, medium-textured hair
380 - 430 For thick, coarse hair
Helpful Styling Hints
• Hair should be clean and dried completely before using any styling tool.
• DO NOT touch barrels while the waver is plugged in or operating. They
are extremely hot.
• Comb or brush out a two-inch wide section of hair and place between
barrels.
• You will achieve the best results if you work from the scalp to the ends
of your hair. Lightly clamp the hair strand close to the scalp. Close
clamp and hold the waver in this position for a few seconds, depending
on the type of hair (5 seconds for fine hair and up to 8 seconds for
medium to coarse hair).
• To release, simply release the handles and let the hair slip out.
• The waving process requires some overlapping; match the outermost
wave of your hair with the barrel and hold in position again for a few
seconds. Repeat the process until you have achieved the look you
desire.
• When styling is complete, slide the “On / Off” switch to the “Off”
position. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before storing.
Locking Switch
When finished using the styling tool, unplug the appliance and allow it
to cool. Close the handles, then push the locking switch back to lock the
barrels together for easier storage. To unlock the barrels, push the locking
switch forward. DO NOT engage the locking switch while styling. Locking
the barrels onto the hair can cause serious damage to the hair.

PRECAUCIÓN: Artefactos con un dial de control de calor funcionan a

Consejos para el estilizado
• El cabello debe estar limpio y completamente seco antes de usar

• Con un peine o cepillo separe una sección de cabello de dos pulgadas
de ancho y colóquela entre los tambores.
• Obtendrá los mejores resultados si trabaja del cuero cabelludo a los
extremos del cabello. Sujete suavemente la sección de cabello cerca del
cuero cabelludo y pásela por debajo y por encima de los tres tambores.
Cierre la abrazadera y sostenga el ondulador en esta posición durante
algunos segundos, dependiendo del tipo de cabello (5 segundos en el
caso de cabello fino y hasta 8 segundos en el caso de cabello de textura
media a gruesa).
• Para liberar el cabello de los tambores simplemente deje el cabello
deslizarse al mismo tiempo libere las asas.
• El proceso de ondulado requiere un poco de superposición; haga
coincidir el extremo lateral de las ondas del cabello con el tambor y
vuelva a sujetarlo unos segundos. Repita el procedimiento hasta haber
logrado el aspecto deseado.
• Cuando haya terminado de modelar el cabello, deslice el interruptor
“On / Off” (encendido / apagado) a la posición “Off” (apagado).
Desenchufe el artefacto y déjelo enfriar antes de guardarlo.
Interruptor de seguro
Al terminar de usar la herramienta modeladora, desenchúfela y déjela
enfriarse. Cierre las manijas, luego mueva hacia atrás el interruptor de
seguro de los tambores para trabarlas juntas y facilitar el almacenamiento.
Para destrabar los tambores, mueva hacia adelante el interruptor de seguro
de los tambores. NO active el seguro mientras esté modelando. Si se
traban los tambores en el cabello puede causar daños serios al cabello.
