Instructions and Warnings
• This sprayer is intended for use with water-based solutions
of insecticides, fungicides, weedkillers and fertilizers, but
as it is fitted with Viton seals, can also be used with more
aggressive chemicals, for cleaning, degreasing, disinfecting
and stripping, check with the chemical manufacturers if
you have any doubt about the suitability of a chemical for
spraying. (Viton is a registered trade mark of Dupont).
• Nitric acid, acetic acid and propionic acid must only be
used in a concentration of up to 10%, phosphoric acid,
and sulphuric acid in a concentration of up to 30%, and
potassium hydroxide and caustic soda in a concentration of
up to 20%.
NOT SUITABLE FOR:
•Combustibleliquidswithaflashpointbelow55degrees
Celsius.
•Wettingagents(tensides)
•Viscousorstickyliquidsorliquidsthatformresidues
(dyesandgreases)
•Liquidattemperaturesabove30degreesCelsius.
• Always follow the chemical suppliers instructions, as well as
the instructions supplied with this sprayer.
• Make sure all nuts are screwed hand tight before use.
• If the sprayer has been used with chemicals, discard safely
any unused solution after use.
• Always use eye protection when replacing valves, seals or
springs
•Beforecarryingoutanymaintenanceonthissprayer
itisessentialtodepressurisethebottle,byliftingthe
pressurereleaseknob.
Always wear protective clothing, goggles, face mask and
gloves.
Avoid inhaling spray mist.
Avoid skin contact with chemicals.
Always work in a well ventilated area.
Take care to protect children, pets & fish from exposure to
chemicals.
Always wash hands thoroughly after use & especially
before eating.
