Note
The HP 4284A ignores triggers that are applied while a measurement
is in progress. Trigger the HP 4284A after the measurementis
completed.
Select the EXT trigger mo de when the HP 4284A is triggered via an
optional interface.
When the trigger mo de is set to BUS trigger mo de, the HP 4284A
performs a single measurementevery time the TRIGGER command
is sent to the HP 4284A via HP-IB. Then the BUS trigger mo de
cannot be set on the front panel.
Front Panel Operation for Setting the Trigger Mode
Perform the following steps to set the trigger mo de except for in the
BUS TRIG mo de. To set the trigger mo de in the BUS TRIG mo de,
the TRIGger:SOURce BUS command should b e sent via HP-IB.
1. Move the cursor to the TRIG eld. The following softkeys will be
displayed.
