Jams in the top cover
Jams in the top cover occur in of the areas indicated in the figures
below. Use the procedures in this section to clear a jam in this area.
1. Jammed paper
2. Crumpled paper in the fuser
WARNING! Do not touch the fuser. It is hot and could cause burns! The fuser’s
operating temperature is 190°C (374° F). Wait 10 minutes to allow the
fuser to cool before touching the fuser.
