Before removing thedisplay panel, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 32).
Remove the display assembly:
1. Disconnect the display cable from the system board ZIF connector (1), and then remove the pieces of
tape that secure the display cable to the system board (2).
2. Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN module (3), and then remove the cables from the clips on
the bottom and left sides of the speaker (4).
3. Rotate the display to open the hinges (1).
4. Remove the six Phillips M2.5 × 6.0 screws (2) that secure the display assembly to the computer.
