0CxD Expansion rack requirements
• One existing 2CxD main rack containing a properly wired controller pair and disk enclosures
(see Figure 1).
The controllers may be above or in the middle of the disk enclosures, depending on the number
of disk enclosures and how the rack was initially configured. Figure 1 is an example only, showing
six disk enclosures below the EVA8400 controllers.
• The main rack must be running properly.
• A new 0CxD expansion rack containing properly wired disk enclosures (see Figure 2). Figure 2
is an example only, showing six disk enclosures and assuming there are six disk enclosures in the
main rack.
