Printing is very slow.
You may be using
outdated printer
software.
Check www.hp.com for the most
recent software updates. See the
Software Setup & Product Support
booklet that came with your printer
for contact information.
Windows PC
Use HP’s Web Update software to
check the version of the printer
driver you are using. See the care
& maintenance section of the HP
Photosmart Printer Help for more
information.
Macintosh
Use the Print dialog box (OS 9.x)
or the Print Center (OS X) to check
the version of the printer driver you
are using. See the everyday
printing section of the HP
Photosmart Printer Help for more
information.
You may be printing a
complex document
containing graphics or
photographs.
OR
You may be trying to
print a high resolution
photo.
Try the following:
• Free up some space on your
hard disk. Having less than
100MB of free space on your
computer’s hard disk can mean
longer processing time.
• Be patient. Large, complex
documents containing graphics
or photographs print slower
than text documents.
