Installing and Verifying Support Management Station Software
The Support Management System (SMS) software comprises the JTAG Utility for Scan Tests (JUST)
software and the Firmware Update Utility (FWUU). JUST is the software on the SMS that tests the
functionality of the system. It tests the connections between cabinets, and the connections between cells and
the I/O bays. The FWUU is used, as the name suggests, to update firmware. Both of these software bundles
reside in the /opt directory.
NOTE JUST and FWUU software procedures are continually being updated with the most accurate
information available. To review the most current procedures on how to install, configure, and
run JUST software and the Firmware Update Utility, refer to the Electronic Performance
Support System (EPSS) CD-ROM or, on the Web, go to superdome.hp.com. Click System
Hardware, then click Support Management Station Hardware.
