Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 28).
2. Remove the top cover/keyboard (Top cover/keyboard on page 28).
Remove the speakers:
1. Detach the clear shield (1) that secures the battery cable to the system board.
2. Disconnect the battery cable (2) from the system board.
3. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.5 screws (3) that secure the battery shield to the computer.
