The HP Color LaserJet CM1015/1017 MFP is designed for your convenience, with printing, copying, scanning,
and send-to-e-mail capabilities in one simple device.
Flexible paper handling
• The HP Color LaserJet CM1015/CM1017 MFP features a priority input slot, one standard 250-sheet input
tray, and one optional 250-sheet input tray, for a maximum input capacity of up to 500 sheets, so that you
spend less time replenishing paper.
• The adjustable input trays support a wide range of paper types, sizes, and weights. For the complete list of
supported papers, see “Technical specifications” on page 24.
• Use the flatbed platen glass to copy and scan irregular-size single sheets, bound documents, and objects
such as signs and placards.
Effortless copying
The device may be used as a standalone, walk-up copier—you do not need to be connected to the network or a
computer to make copies. You can adjust all copy settings at the control panel, including contrast and
lightness/darkness of reproduction, reduction or enlargement from 25 to 400 percent, and several modes
specifically for text, mixed text and graphics, or photos.
Convenient scanning and send-to-e-mail
The HP Color LaserJet CM1015/CM1017 MFP enables sending and archiving of scanned documents for a fast,
simple, and reliable way to capture paper-based content in digital format, so you can better manage valuable
information. Easily scan business material—such as documents, manuals, and reports—directly to your desktop,
an e-mail address, or a network drive for easy archiving.
You also get the convenience and versatility of converting paper documents into editable electronic documents
with Readiris PRO Text Recognition software.
Digital photo printing
Conveniently print digital photos directly from the control panel with integrated photo memory card slots, or
transfer images to or from supported memory cards to connected computers or network drives.

Once you’ve captured your photos, HP Photosmart Premiere makes organizing and building albums easy and
fun. It lets you quickly design personalized greeting cards, edit and print photos, and share them with family
and friends via e-mail or the web.
