Registration density (RD) sensor assembly
Before proceeding, remove the following components:

Secondary transfer assembly. See
Secondary transfer assembly on page 186.

Intermediate transfer belt (ITB). See
Intermediate transfer belt (ITB) on page 188.
Remove the RD sensor assembly
1. Remove two screws (callout 1).

2. Slide the shutter toward the right side of the product. Keep the shutter in this position for the
following step.
