Tests, Utilities & Calibrations
• 4.0.1 Reset SMK1 = Resets the life cycles of the following: Carriage Assembly, Trailing cable,
Ink Tubes, Belt, Scan Motor, Heating (Dryer) IR Sensor, Curing IR Sensor, Carriage lubrication,
Line sensor (hours)
• 4.0.2 Reset SMK2 = Resets the life cycles of the following: Service Station Motor, Heating IR
Sensor, Carriage lubrication, Rack Motor, Curing IR Sensor, Printhead Cleaning Counters, Spit
Plate spittoon (liters), Line sensor (hours)
• 4.0.3 Reset SMK3 = Resets the life cycles of the following: Aerosol filters, Heating IR Sensor,
Carriage lubrication, Curing IR Sensor, Line sensor (hours)
The printer displays the usage percentage and asks you if you want to reset the life counter.
3. Press OK if you want to reset the life counter or Back if you do not want to reset the life counter. If
you choose not to reset the life counter, the printer exits the utility.
4.3 Reset Substrate Path Menu
Description
The purpose of this Service Utility is to check the service part usage and/or reset the life counter for the
Substrate Path:
• 4.3.1 Rewinder Motor> Resets the Rewinder Motor (hours)
• 4.3.2 Drive Roller Motor > Reset the substrate motor
• 4.3.3 OMAS Sensor > Resets OMAS (M of media length, navigable success, navigable fail-
ures.
• 4.3.4 Vacuum Fan > Resets Vacuum Fans (hours).
4.4 Reset ISS Menu
Description
The purpose of this Service Utility is to check the service part usage and/or reset the life counter for the ISS:
• 4.4.1 APS Pumps > Resets the APS Pump in cycles and hours.
4.5 Reset Scan Axis Menu
Description
The purpose of this Service Utility is to check the service part usage and/or reset the life counter for the
Scan Axis:
• 4.5.1 Reset Belt Cycles: Resets the Belt cycles
• 4.5.2 Tubes/Trailing Cables: Resets the cycles of the Trailing Cable and Ink Tubes
• 4.5.3 SAX Motor Cycles: Reset the Scan Motor
4.6 Reset Carriage Menu
Description
The purpose of this Service Utility is to check the service part usage and/or reset the life counter for the
Carriage:
• 4.6.1 Carriage Cycles: Reset the cycles of the Carriage
• 4.6.2 New Line Sensor: Reset the Line Sensor (hours)
• 4.6.3 Cutter Cycles: Reset the cutter cycles (number of times substrate has been cut)
• 4.6.4 Color Sensor: Reset the SOL (hours)
• 4.6.5 Carriage Lubrication: Resets the Carriage lubricant
