3. Remove the power connector cable from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 40).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 40).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the touchpad cable from the reverse ZIF connector on the NFC module (1).
2. Disconnect the system board cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (2).
3. Remove the eight Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (3) that secure the touchpad bracket to the computer.
