2. Remove the battery from the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the RTC battery.
Touchpad
To remove the touchpad, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (1).
2. Disconnect the cable from the reverse ZIF connector on the NFC module (2).
3. Remove the six Phillips M1.6 × 1.8 screws (3) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
