ProcedureProcedure
1. Power down the server (Power down the server).
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
Extend the server from the rack ( Extend the server from the rack ).
Remove the server from the rack ( Remove the server from the rack ).
4. Remove the access panel ( Remove the access panel).
5. Remove the fan cage (Removing and replacing the fan cage ).
6. Disconnect all cables from the LFF power switch module.
7. Remove the LFF power switch module ( Removing and replacing the LFF power switch module ).
8. Remove the optical drive.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
