Prepare for replacement
1. Ensure that you have the printhead cleaning roll rubber blade kit, which is included in the printer
initial maintenance kit, but can also be purchased separately.
2. Ensure that the printer is not printing.
3. Turn off the printer.
4. If a job has just been printed, wait about 20 minutes for the printer to cool down.
5. You are required to wear gloves and goggles.
NOTE: Use the original screws installed in the device and discard the longer screws provided with
the kit 8VJ64A.
6. Open the agent door and the external cleaning-roll door.
7. Open the top cover.
