Removing the copier/scanner
To remove the copier/scanner from the
printer, follow the instructions below:
CAUTION
If you remove the copier/scanner before
you unplug the printer, you might
damage your printer and scanner. You
must also unplug the printer before you
reinstall the copier/scanner on the
printer.

Turn off the power switch (220 v
models only) and unplug the printer.

Open and remove the left side panel.

Pull up on the scanner cable to
disconnect it from the printer.

Slide the copier/scanner up and
away from the printer.
