Tray 3 Assembly Connector Removal
1 Remove the following assemblies:
• Remove the toner cartridge. (See “Toner Cartridge Removal” (page 160) for
instructions.)
• Remove Tray 2. (See “Tray 2 Removal” (page 161) for instructions.)
• Remove the DIMM cover. (See “DIMM Cover Removal” (page 175) for instructions.)
• Remove the rear cover. (See “Rear Cover Removal” (page 180) for instructions.)
• Remove the top cover. (See “Top Cover Removal” (page 192) for instructions.)
• Remove the formatter PCB. (See “Formatter PCB Removal” (page 177) for
instructions.)
• Remove the printer drive assembly. (See “Printer Drive Assembly Removal”
(page 207) for instructions.)
2 Disconnect the wires at the location shown in figure 7-103.
3 To remove the connector shown in figure 7-103 squeeze the wing nuts with needle nose
pliers, and then push the connector through the opening.
