HP Web Jetadmin
HP Web Jetadmin is a simple, Web-based peripheral management utility for remotely installing,
configuring, and managing a wide variety of HP and non-HP network peripherals. With advanced
security features, you can be assured that HP Web Jetadmin and your network-connected
peripherals are well protected. HP Web Jetadmin increases business productivity by helping you
manage supplies, proactively address potential printing problems, configure peripheral drivers,
and update firmware. Best of all, HP Web Jetadmin provides all of the peripheral management
capabilities you need in one easy-to-use Web browser interface.
Note HP Web Jetadmin is not included with the MFP installation software but can be
downloaded from the HP Web site at www.hp.com/go/webjetadmin.
Remote management
• Easily install and manage peripherals. Through a standard Web browser, you can configure
devices, conduct remote diagnostics, update firmware, and organize devices into groups.
• Navigate quickly and easily. The tree-structured layout is easy to use thanks to an intuitive,
task-oriented interface.
• Take advantage of complete management. Expandable functionality via optional plug-ins
allows all printing needs to be easily managed. Firmware can be installed, configured, and
updated simultaneously for all supported devices within a list or group.
• Employ time-saving autogrouping features. Autogrouping allows administrators to have newly
discovered devices automatically placed into a group based on filter criteria.

• Solve problems preemptively. Management of HP and other standards-compliant devices

• Relax with secure network settings. HP Web Jetadmin supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) v 3.0 for even greater security.
• Rely on simple, cost-effective administration with Windows NT user authentication. System
administrators can associate each user’s NT Domain account with a profile on the HP Web
Jetadmin server.
