The HP LaserJet 6P/6MP Status Panel
The status panel on the HP LaserJet 6P/6MP printer differs
slightly from the 5P/5MP printer. The status lights for Tray 1 and
Tray 2 have been moved from top status panel down to the front of
the printer. These status lights are now located next to the trays.
In addition, the Reset button has been replaced by the Job Cancel
button.

2. ERROR (back) light 6. TRAY 1 (top) status light
3. DATA (middle) light 7. TRAY 2 empty light
4. READY (front) light 8. IR (bottom) status light
The Status Panel consists of two buttons for completing tasks and
six lights that indicate the status of the printer (see Figure 6).
