3. Click Printers and Faxes (in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003) or Printers (in Windows
2000).
4. Right-click the printer icon.
5. Click Properties.
6. Click the About tab.
The Windows 98 and Windows Me operating systems support the HP Color LaserJet 3800 PCL 6 and
PCL 5 traditional print drivers and the PS Emulation Driver.
If you are using an HP traditional PCL driver, follow these steps to gain access to the print driver version
number:
1. Click Start.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click Printers.
4. Right-click the product name.
5. Click Properties to gain access to all print-driver tabs.
6. Click the HP logo in the lower-left corner of the following HP Traditional PCL 6 Driver or
