Replace the pickup roller
The pickup roller wears out with normal use. Using poor-quality paper can cause the pickup roller to
wear out more frequently. If the product regularly does not pick up a sheet of paper, you might need to
clean or replace the pickup roller.
1. Lift the scanner assembly, and open the print-cartridge door.
2. Remove the print cartridge.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the print cartridge, minimize its exposure to direct light. Cover
the print cartridge with a sheet of paper.
