General paper jam guidelines
For jams of any type, check the following:

Make sure that the paper guides are correctly positioned against the paper.
●
Verify the paper meets the product specifications.
●
Use the control panel or the HP Embedded Web Server to make sure that the tray is configured
properly.

Auto-navigation for clearing jams
The auto-navigation feature assists you in clearing jams by providing step-by-step instructions on the
control panel. When you complete a step, the product displays instructions for the next step until you
have completed all steps in the procedure.
