This setting

Control has two
components: adaptive
half-toning and
trapping. Adaptive
half-toning increases
edge sharpness.
Trapping reduces the
eect of color-plane
misregistration by
overlapping the edges
of adjacent objects
slightly. Select one of
the following options:
O: Turns o both
trapping and adaptive
half-toning.
Light: Sets trapping at
a minimal level, and
adaptive half-toning is
on.
Normal: Trapping is at
a medium level and
adaptive half-toning is
on.
Maximum: Trapping is
at the highest level,
and adaptive half-
toning is on.
