Use to describe the

Image Adjustment Darkness Use to improve the
overall quality of the
copy.
Adjust the Darkness
setting to increase or
decrease the amount
of white and black in
the colors.
Contrast Adjust the Contrast
setting to increase or
decrease the
dierence between
the lightest and
darkest color on the
page.
Background Cleanup Adjust the Background
Cleanup setting if you
are having trouble
copying a faint image.
Sharpness Adjust the Sharpness
setting to clarify or
soften the image. For
example, increasing
the sharpness could
make text appear
crisper, but decreasing
it could make
photographs appear
smoother.
