Trays menu
Touchscreen printers: At the printer control panel, touch the Trays button.
LCD printers: Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the Trays button, and then press the OK button.
NOTE: The trays listed in the this menu depend on the printer conguration.

Status This shows the tray status
(for example, “Empty”
might display).
Capacity This shows the tray
capacity.
Use Requested Tray Exclusively
When available
Controls how the printer
handles jobs that have
specied a specic input
tray. Two options are
available:
Exclusively: The printer
never selects a dierent
tray when the user has
indicated that a specic
tray should be used, even if
that tray is empty.
When available: The printer
uses the selected tray
unless it is empty or
unavailable.
Manual Feed Prompt Always prompt
Prompt on mismatch
Indicate whether a prompt
should appear when the
type or size for a job does
not match the specied tray
and the product pulls from
the multipurpose tray
instead. Two options are
available:
Always prompt: A prompt
always displays before
using the multipurpose
tray.
Prompt on mismatch: A
prompt only displays if the
job size/type does not
match the tray
conguration.
