Description of the defect
Large areas of ll look blotchy, grainy, non-uniform, or mottled. Graininess/xing mottle is a phenomenon
that occurs by how the toner (dot) is pressed or melted depending on the media roughness. This leads to the
density variance or uneven gloss. This defect is caused by inconsistently melted toner. This defect tends to
become worse as the printer becomes hot.
