5. Use the down arrow button to scroll to Cleaning Page, and then press the OK button.
6. Use the down arrow and the right arrow buttons to select the Print item, and then press the OK
button.
NOTE: Use the Cleaning Page screen to setup an Automatic Cleaning Interval. Use the arrow buttons to
scroll to the desired page interval, and then press the OK button.
Check the scanner glass for dirt and smudges (MFP)
Over time, specks of debris might collect on the scanner glass and white plastic backing, which can aect
performance. Use the following procedure to clean the scanner if the printed pages have streaks, unwanted
lines, black dots, poor print quality, or unclear text.
1. Press the power button to turn the printer o,
and then disconnect the power cable from the
electrical outlet.
2. Open the scanner lid.
