2. Open the front door of the accessory, and then remove all of the shipping tape and packing materials
from inside the accessory.
Close the front door.
CAUTION: Make sure that you remove all of the shipping material from inside the accessory.
3. Remove all the shipping tape and packing materials from the output trays (callout 1) and the booklet
output tray (callout 2).
4. If installing an optional booklet maker, remove the intermediate paper transport unit (IPTU) and the
binder cover from the packaging.
NOTE: If you are replacing an existing booklet maker, these parts are already installed on the product
and replacement of them is not required.
