Background Set to Alternate 1 when a background occurs all over the
page. This changes the D blade bias and charging bias.
Set to Alternate 2 when a background of thin vertical lines
occur on the page. This changes the D blade bias and
charging bias. This turns off the pre-exposure LED.
Uniformity Control Set to Alternate 1 when mottle occurs with all modes
(Transfer Mottle). This changes the first transfer bias.
Set to Alternate 2 when mottle occurs with Normal Media
mode or Light Media 1 mode is selected. This changes the
print speed (slower) and adjusts the fuser temperature.
Tracking Control Use Tracking Control to disable tracking control.
Transfer control Set to Alternate 1 when re-transfer occurs. This changes the
first transfer bias.
Set to Alternate 2 when developer ghosting occurs. This
changes the RS roller bias.
Restore Optimize Use Restore Optimize to reset the menu defaults.
