ADF input-tray flag
1. Open the ADF cover.
2. Gently flex the plastic rib until the front flag hinge clears the mounting hole. Rotate the ADF input-
flag until the hinge pin clears the plastic rib. Pull the flag towards you to release the back hinge.

TIP: When reinstalling the ADF input-tray flag, make sure that the long, straight end of the spring
is tucked under the lip on the flag and that the bent end of the spring threads through the hole in
the plastic rib that retains the spring.
Make sure that the ADF input-tray flag can move freely.
