Staple stacker driver PCA
The staple stacker driver PCA controls the operational sequence for the staple stacker. The CPU in the
staple stacker driver PCA controls the staple stacker driver PCA. The sequence of events include the
following:
1. The printer is turned on.
2. The printer supplies DC power to the staple stacker driver PCA.
3. The CPU in the staple stacker driver PCA starts to control a staple stacker operation.
4. When the staple stacker enters STBY period, the CPU sends the signals to drive each load — such
as the motors and solenoids — based on the command from the formatter.
