Light print (partial page)
1. Make sure that the print cartridge is fully installed. The print-cartridge door should close completely
when the cartridge is fully seated.
2. The toner level in the print cartridge might be low. Remove the cartridge and shake it to redistribute
the toner. Replace the print cartridge.
3. The media might not meet HP specifications (for example, the media is too moist or too rough).
4. The transfer roller might be worn or damaged. Replace the transfer roller if necessary. See
Transfer
roller on page 187.
