• Always use media that conforms with specifications. For more information, see
Media specifications.
• Make sure media is aligned against the right side of a tray.
• Make sure the media guides are adjusted snugly against the media, but do not
crinkle or bend it.
• Make sure to remove paper clips, staples, pins, or other attachments from the
paper.

Power light is on. If using AC power: Printer is turned on and
idle.
If using battery power: Battery status light
indicates power level.

Power light is slowly pulsing white. Printer is in sleep mode.

Battery status light is green. Battery is 41–100% charged and printer is
turned on and idle. Power cord not plugged
in.
No action is required.
Battery status light is amber. Battery is 10-40% charged and printer is
