3. Disconnect the power connector cable from the system board (3), and then remove the power connector
and cable from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
Fingerprint reader (select products only)
To remove the ngerprint reader, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the ngerprint reader, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 29).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the ngerprint reader:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (2) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer, and
then remove the bracket (3).
