3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Remove the server from the rack.
6. Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
7. Remove the access panel.
8. Remove the middle cover.
9. If installed, remove the energy pack:
a. Press and hold the retention latch.
b. Pivot the energy pack upward (callout 1).
c. Lift one end of the energy pack and release it from the latch (callout 2).
d. Detach the energy pack from the chassis (callout 3).
