4. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
5. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
6. Remove the server from the rack .
7. Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
Locate the spilling point of the coolant leakLocate the spilling point of the coolant leak
8. Observe proper eye and skin protection.
9. Remove the access panel.
10. Look for any potential contact between the coolant and any of the internal cables and components, especially power connectors.
11. Locate the spilling point of the coolant leak.
12. Cover the spilling point with a dry absorbent material.
13. Remove the liquid cooling heatsink.

14. Use a dry absorbent material to clean the coolant leak.
15. Wring the absorbed coolant into a container.
16. Fill the container with tap water and dispose the residue in accordance with local safety requirements.
17. Use paper towels to dry the spilled area.
18. Use plenty of fresh water to clean the container used to collect the leaked coolant.
19. Dispose the used absorbent material and paper towels in accordance with local safety requirements.
