3. Install the drives.
Push firmly near the ejection handle until the latching spring engages with the drive bay.

Power on the server.
To configure the drive, use HPE Smart Storage Administrator.
Installing an M.2 drive
This procedure is for replacing M.2 drives located on an expansion card, riser, or the system board only. Do not use this
procedure to replace uFF drives.
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following items available:
The components included with the hardware option kit
T-10 Torx screwdriver
Procedure
1.
Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
Extend the server from the rack.
Remove the server from the rack.
