Usage Features

The AD006 offers several user-friendly features for installation, programming, and operation:

Installation:

  1. Recommended Door Size: The recommended opening size for installation is 15.5" (39.37cm) high x 10" (25.4cm) wide.
  2. Leveling: It is crucial to use a level to ensure the door is installed straight. Four screws are used to secure the door to the left and right side rails.
  3. Controller Access: Four fixing screws on both sides of the controller need to be removed to access internal components. The sensor position should be on the left.
  4. Battery Installation: The cover can be gently removed to install 4 AA batteries or one 6V battery. High-quality batteries like Duracell or Panasonic are recommended.
  5. Preventing Tilting: After opening the door by pressing the 'open' button, two screws should be installed 10cm above the controller to prevent the door from tilting. Care must be taken not to obstruct the aluminum door with the screws.
  6. Gear Clearance: After installation, ensure the gear of the chicken door is not blocked by anything.

Panel Introduction and Button Usage: The control panel features a display, a warning light, and a light sensor. There are three main buttons:

  • Button 1 (Menu/Setting): Used to switch between setting hours and minutes, and to adjust values (in conjunction with the A/V buttons). Also used to enter setup menu interface for timer and light operations.
  • Button 2 (Close/Decrease/Mode):
    • Click to temporarily close the door manually (it will open automatically after 3 minutes).
    • Decreases values during programming.
    • Switches between working modes (TIMER-TIMER and LIGHT-LIGHT).
  • Button 3 (Open/Increase):
    • Click to temporarily open the door manually (it will close automatically after 3 minutes).
    • Increases values during programming.

Programming Guidelines:

  • Clock Setup: Press and hold Button 1 for 2 seconds to initialize clock setup. Use Button 1 to scroll between hours and minutes, and the A/V buttons to adjust values.
  • Timer Operation (TIMER-TIMER mode):
    • Press Button 1 to enter the setup menu interface.
    • Use the A/V buttons to switch between TIMER-TIMER and LIGHT-LIGHT modes.
    • Open Up Time: Press Button 1 to scroll between hours and minutes, then use A/V buttons to select the open time.
