What to do if the PROTECT LED stays lit on my HQ Power amplifier?

If the PROTECT LED on your HQ Power amplifier is lit, it could be due to several reasons: * The inputs are receiving DC voltage. * Overheating because of a clogged fan grille. * The impedance of the speakers is too low. * A short circuit in the speaker connection or the speaker itself. * A technical fault with the amplifier. In the case of DC voltage input or a technical default, switch the amplifier off and have it checked by a service technician. If it's due to a clogged fan grille, clean the grille. For low speaker impedance, connect other speakers. If there's a short circuit, check the speakers.
