Why does the noise in the gear box increase on HUALIAN Packaging equipment?
    • M
      Michael BrownSep 23, 2025
If the noise in the gear box increases, it may be time to change the lubricating oil of the worm gear box. Use Great Wall 000# super pressure lithium grease.

Why won't the printing wheel stop on my HUALIAN FRM-980I Food Saver?
    • H
      hollyarmstrongAug 25, 2025
If the printing wheel doesn’t stop, the sensor (groove sensor) might be damaged, moved, or covered by dust. Try replacing the sensor, correcting its position, or cleaning its surface. If that doesn't solve the problem, the main control PC board may be damaged and need to be checked and replaced.

How to fix no heat for ink roller on HUALIAN FRM-980I Food Saver?
    • J
      Janice Simmons PhDAug 26, 2025
If there is no heat for the ink roller heating block or printing, the heating pipe or wire may be damaged and needs replacement. Another possibility is that the heating PC board is damaged and needs replacement. Also, the potentiometer on the knob could be damaged and needs replacement, or the carbon brush seat might not be in place, requiring you to adjust and tighten the nut. Finally, the carbon brush itself may be damaged and need replacement.

What to do if the printing wheel doesn’t work on my HUALIAN Food Saver?
    • R
      Richard EllisAug 27, 2025
If the printing wheel isn’t working, the start sensor’s touching head might be blocked, so clean the obstacle. Another reason may be dust on the sensor’s surface. In this case, clean the dust on the sensor’s surface. If neither of these solutions work, the PC board may need to be checked and replaced.

Why printing wheel does not work on HUALIAN Packaging equipment?
    • T
      theresa96Sep 23, 2025
The contact of the start sensor may be stuck; remove any obstacles. Alternatively, the sensor might be dirty, with the photocoupler hole blocked by dust; clean the surface of the optocoupler hole. If these steps don't resolve the issue, check and replace components.

Why is embossing not clear on my HUALIAN Packaging equipment?
    • S
      Shane JohnsonSep 13, 2025
If the embossing is not clear, it could be that the embossing wheel is worn out and needs replacement, or the pressing spring on the embossing wheel is not tightened enough, requiring adjustment.

    Stacy CaldwellSep 12, 2025
How to troubleshoot solid-ink heating block not heating on HUALIAN Packaging equipment?
    • S
      Shawn RandallSep 12, 2025
If the solid-ink heating block or printing wheel isn't heating, the electrical heated tube or wire may be damaged, requiring replacement of the heater. Alternatively, the heating circuit board could be damaged, necessitating circuit board replacement. Other potential causes include a damaged potentiometer on the knob (replace the potentiometer), a displaced carbon brush holder (adjust and tighten the nut), or a damaged carbon brush holder (replacement).

What causes the sealing belt to break easily on HUALIAN Packaging equipment?
    • J
      John NguyenSep 12, 2025
Several factors can cause the sealing belt to break easily. There might be too much tension on the sealing belt, so adjust the vertical adjusting screw on the driven wheel seat to achieve the correct tension. The sealing belt could be off-tracking, requiring adjustment of the vertical adjusting screw on the driven wheel seat. Also, ensure there are no creases on the sealing belt and that the surface of the sealing belt is cleaned regularly to remove any adhesive film or dirt.

How to fix conveyor belt off-tracking on HUALIAN FRM-980I Food Saver?
    • M
      Michelle ChaseSep 4, 2025
If the conveyor belt is off-tracking, it could be because the driving roller shaft isn’t parallel to the driven roller shaft. Adjust the two adjusting screws of the driven roller shaft (rear shaft) on the conveyor.

What to do if packing bag folds on HUALIAN Food Saver?
    • R
      Robin PattersonSep 2, 2025
If there's a block or fold when the packing bag is conveyed to the pressing wheel or embossing wheel, there may be too much pressure caused by the pressing wheel or embossing wheel. Adjust the pressing wheel or embossing wheel to proper pressure, so that the clearance between two sealing belts is about the thickness of a packing bag in one layer. This ensures strong sealing and clear printing without making the two ends of the sealing part extend too long. After adjusting the clearance, adjust the limiting screw.
