Step 2 Select Boot Type, and press Enter.
Step 3 In the displayed dialog box, select Legacy Boot or UEFI Boot, and press Enter.
NOTE
l The BIOS of the V5 platform uses the UEFI mode by default. If the legacy mode is used, ensure that
the sum of option ROMs of all PCIe devices does not exceed the upper limit (128 KB) specified by
Intel. Otherwise, some PCIe devices may become unavailable.
l If the capacity of the target hard drive or RAID group is greater than 2 TB, set Boot Type to UEFI
Boot.
l If the OS is to be installed on an NVMe hard drive, you can only set Boot Type to UEFI Boot.
Step 4 Select Boot Sequence and press Enter.
The Boot Sequence screen is displayed.
NOTE
The default boot sequence is Hard Disk Drive > DVD-ROM Drive > PXE > Others.
Step 5 Select a boot option and press F5 or F6 to change the boot order.
l Press F5 to move a boot option down.
l Press F6 to move a boot option up.
NOTE
The server will boot in the order displayed.
