To change the wallpaper, touch the Menu key then Wallpapers and select Wallpapers,
Live Wallpaper, or Gallery.
4.4.2 How do I save battery power?
To save battery power, touch Power saving mode in Settings, or perform the following
operations as required:

When you are not using the phone, press the Power key to turn off the screen.

Touch Settings > All > Display > Sleep to set the timeout period to a small value.

Touch Settings > All > Display > Brightness to set the brightness to a small value.

Touch Settings > All and turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You can also turn off Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth from the notification panel.

Drag the status bar down to display the notification panel. Turn off data synchronization.

Touch Settings > All > Mobile networks and clear Data enabled to disable the data
service. You can also turn off the data service from the notification panel.

Touch Settings > All > Location services and clear GPS satellites to disable the GPS
function. You can also turn off the GPS function from the notification panel.
4.4.3 How do I save data traffic?

Disable the data service when you are not using it.

When Wi-Fi is available, connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network and disable the data
service.

Access Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) sites instead of World Wide Web
(WWW) websites.

Drag the status bar down to display the notification panel. Turn off data synchronization.
4.4.4 My phone runs slowly. What can I do?

Close some running third-party applications.

Uninstall some applications.

Restart your phone.

Restore your phone to its factory settings.
4.4.5 Can I uninstall applications customized by my service
provider?
Certain customized applications cannot be uninstalled.
4.4.6 My customized wallpaper automatically stretches. Why?
If set as your wallpaper, a picture will stretch to cover all the home screens. For example, if
you have five home screens, the picture will be displayed as the wallpaper for all of them. No
stretch button is available.
