4.11 Troubleshooting Charging Faults
4.11.1 Charging Circuit
The mobile phone supports charging in power on/off status. Exterior charger is detected by Q301 (pin3)
when it is connected to DC jack CN701. When the mobile phone is in normal charging mode, 3pin(5v) and
4pin(3.75v) of Q301 make the Q301 PMOS work in opening status, then the DC voltage transferred by
charger begins to charge the battery. Meanwhile U100-C will detect current size through ISENSE and
BATSNS. When the battery voltage rises to 4.2V, and the current is less than 20mA, the BATSNS will
report to CPU U100-C to express the battery is full. Then, U100-C will control 4pin of Q301 to high-
level(5V), so the Q301 will close. Charger Stop to charge the battery.
