Powering On the System
Installing the PSU
7.1
Power on the PSU within 24 hours after unpacking. Otherwise, place it in a dry indoor
environment without corrosive gas.
1. Push the locking latch leftward.
2. Pull out the handle.
3. Gently push the PSU into its slot along
the guide rails.
4. Push the handle upward.
5. Push the locking latch rightward to lock
the handle.
The subrack varies with the ESS models. The figure uses one type of the subrack as an
example.

Installing the Solenoid Valve
7.2
For non-emergency manual operations, do not remove the safety pull ring.
• If a solenoid valve is configured with a reset device, ensure that the solenoid valve is not
activated before installing it on the fire cylinder. For details, see ''FAQ''.
• Before installing the solenoid valve, ensure that the fire suppression system has been
tested and passed the acceptance inspection (Auxiliary power-on is required for the test
and acceptance of the fire suppression system.).
