Project the Current App to a Large-screen Device
You can project the current app on your tablet to a large-screen device (for example, a
Huawei Vision), while continuing to use and browse other apps on your tablet.
App projection is supported on large-screen devices that support the Cast+/Miracast
protocol.
To project an app, perform the following steps:
• If wireless projection is not enabled, turn on the large-screen device, open the app you wish
to project on your tablet, swipe down from the upper right corner of the tablet screen to
display Control Panel, touch to expand the shortcut switches panel (depending on
your device model), touch Wireless Projection, and follow the onscreen instructions to
project the app to the large-screen device.
• If wireless projection is enabled, open the app you wish to project on your tablet, touch the
capsule at the top of the screen, and follow the onscreen instructions in the Live view,
to project the app to the large-screen device.
Once the wireless projection is successful, the projected app will be minimized and appear as
a oating ball to the side on the tablet screen.
To control a projected app, you can touch the projected app in the oating ball to display
the app's oating window, which can be used to control the app. You can also adjust the
volume on the large-screen device from the oating window.
• Apps in split-screen or oating-window mode can't be projected.
• To safeguard your privacy, this feature can't be used once your device screen has been
locked.
You can exit app projection in any of the following ways:
• Touch the
capsule at the top of the tablet screen, then touch in the Live view to
switch to mirror projection, or touch to exit wireless projection.
• Touch the oating ball for your device to display the app's oating window, then touch
in the oating window to switch to mirror projection, or touch to exit wireless
projection.
• Touch and hold the oating ball and drag it to the at the bottom of the screen, to exit
wireless projection.
