If the number of SSDs in a

disk domain is two or three,

you are advised to configure

the corresponding high-

performance tier to RAID 1

(2D).

Capacity The capacity that the storage tier provides

for the storage pool.

Three capacity levels are provided: TB,

GB, and PB.

NOTE

Select Use all available capacity, and then

you can allocate all available capacity in this

storage layer to the new storage pool.

The capacity must be not

larger than the available

capacity of the storage tier.

NOTE

You are advised to create RAID 6 groups on the capacity tier to ensure data security.

Step 8 Set properties of the storage pool according to the usage types.

1. Click Advanced to set advanced properties for the storage pool.
