a: SmartIO interface modules support various ports including 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel ports,
16 Gbit/s Fibre Channel ports, 10 Gbit/s FCoE (VN2VF) ports, 10 Gbit/s Ethernet ports
(optical port, not negotiable to GE), and iWARP (interconnection between Scale-out
nodes). The V300R006C50 and later versions also provide the SmartIO interface modules
that support only 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel ports.
b: In V300R006C60 and later versions, this interface module is used for front-end
interconnection. Each module has four optical ports and supports various port types. The
port types can be 8, 16, and 32 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, 10GE, and 25GE (not negotiable to
GE).
