Step 7 Wait approximately two minutes and check the status of the fan module Running/
Alarm indicator to determine whether the fan module has been successfully
installed. Figure 6-94 shows the location of a fan module Running/Alarm
indicator.
● If the indicator is steady green, the fan module has been successfully installed.
● If the indicator is steady red or
o, the newly installed fan module is faulty,
the slot for the fan module is faulty, or the fan module is incorrectly installed.

Step 8 Conrm the replacement.
After the preceding procedure is complete, check services on the host for storage-
related errors. If any storage-related error is reported, contact Huawei technical
support.
